MAD ABOUT REVOLUTION

July 30, 2011 Leave a comment

Max, Savannah, and Pigkiller

In the 1985 post-apocalypse adventure film, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, Mel Gibson and his accomplices are hurdling down a dead-ended train track with villains in hot pursuit.  Gibson (Max) asks the driver, “So, what’s the plan?”

Pigkiller replies, “Plan?  Ain’t no plan.”  When I contemplate the present day struggle to restore the Constitution and depose the ruling oligarchy this scene comes to mind.  We seem to be making a lot of headway to nowhere real fast.  And like Max and Savannah we are prone to jump on board any convincing conveyance that takes us away from immediate problems.  Embracing the comfort of Doublethink we vainly continue to believe that the GOP co-opted Tea Party will return us to peace and prosperity.  So, what is the plan?  Lets look at a successful revolution of merely one century ago.

They had a plan

During the chaos and collapse of early 20th century Russia, globalist backed Bolsheviks consolidated power by effectively providing government structure and order.  Filling the void, worker soviets (committees) were formed to run everything from factories to food distribution.  These committees did not occur spontaneously.  They were the physical manifestation of a predetermined ideology.

Democratic Centralism is organisational method applied by the Bolsheviks in making the Russian Revolution: “democracy in discussion – centralism in action,” within a strategy of building a “vanguard party”.  http://www.marxists.org/

Intrinsic to Marxism-Leninism theory the soviet is a microcosm building block leading to a national soviet structure.  Workers elected representatives to run the factory.  Those representatives elected still more, from among themselves, to fill positions of decision making at municipal levels, regional levels, and so forth, culminating with the Supreme Soviet.  All, of course, were beholden to the wisdom and irrefutable truth of Communist Party diktats.  Reflecting theoretical scientific socialism, it was this democratic centralism that gave moral authority to the dictatorship of the proletariat.  On the surface, it was the long awaited revolution 19th century egalitarian romantics had only dreamed about.

The point here is that, not only did the Bolsheviks understand the reality of the economic situation; they were well organized and prepared to act decisively at a given moment.  When the existing government lost credibility and effectiveness, and disruption of goods and services led to critical unrest, they stepped in with a viable solution that appealed to the masses.  They understood the moment in history as well as their moment in history.  Their ideology provided both a working perception of political reality and a pragmatic plan of action.  Their success was assured by establishing long term credibility.  When a Communist politician spoke you were guaranteed the same values, programs, and ideology heard ten years ago.  Unlike the corporatist politicians of this era you knew what you were getting.

Today, the socialist Left hardly qualifies as the opposition.  The label of ‘revolutionary’ is laughable.  They are part of the matrix that suffocates genuine insight and rebellion against the dialectic of growing Orwellian totalitarianism. The present moment in history now belongs to a philosophy diametrically opposed to everything they are.  Ironically, the burden of ushering in the next epoch falls upon folks presently stereotyped as “reactionary”.  In the repeating time loop of history constitutionalists, Ron Paul supporters, and the like, are called on to restore sanity and individual dignity.  Coincidentally, the much heralded year of 2012, as the prophesied turning point in human mega-history, is just around the corner.

Leaderless Resistance

Unlike the revolutionaries of the past, libertarians abhor centralized authority.  By nature the soviet model of coordinated, en masse, revolutionary activity is anathema.  Localized spontaneity is more in character.  When vertical organization is unacceptable more responsibility is placed on individual self actuation.  Hence, the individual must be fully politically aware and focused on the commonly accepted goal – freedom.  There can be no, or little, dependence on others to make decisions.  This mode of thinking and action is unprecedented in our recent history of TV induced herd-think.  Indeed, truly, it pleads for a radical departure from our left/right indoctrination.  It pleads for overcoming our ingrained Big Brother co-dependency.  It demands recognition of the uncompromising sovereignty of the individual.  It will prove to be a necessary mode of action for all freedom activists at this juncture in history.

In contrast to the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 our revolution will not be about seizing governmental power.  Our revolution will be about a 2012 quantum change to real freedom.  Independence from their food, their money, and their belief system will send some of us into a state of shock, but the self reliance of off-the-grid living will prove to be a concrete start.

Already, some observers predict a growing number of people “drifting away”.  They are walking away from their bills, mortgages, and former mindsets.  The new economic reality is sending many to look for ways to unplug from society and seek self-sufficiency.  The New World Order is moving fast to shut down avenues of egress.  They are expanding the control grid.  They own the mass communication systems and we will face the prospect of revolutionary activity without mass accessible information – and indeed, “revolutionary activity” will merely be the pronounced desire to be left alone by the government.

A template for group activity worthy of consideration is We Are Change, a tried and true grassroots organization whose sole declared mission is to educate the public and to stand against tyranny in all forms.  They are loyal to no political party or politician.  Dedicated to the truth, they hit the streets often and disseminate information about the New World Order on their own dime. The quintessential bottom-up organization, they give you the facts and trust YOU to take action.  It is based a priori on the principle that all people yearn to be free and will act accordingly.  When they awaken and see their own slavery they will hold themselves accountable.

Perhaps the Mad Max modus operandi is appropriate.  Do you really need a plan?  Why not just do it?

To change the world by bullets was a useless procedure. Therefore, the only revolution worthwhile was the one-man (woman) revolution within the heart. Each one would make this by himself (herself) and not need to wait on a majority.  — Ammon Hennacy, Catholic Worker who lived and worked with Dorothy Day

R3VOLution and the Road Ahead

March 9, 2010 1 comment

The road ahead will be a challenge.

In 2007 the call went out.  Thanks to the Internet many were informed of a radically different presidential candidate aspiring to be elected in 2008.  It was a candidate who spoke directly to fundamental problems that mainstream media and politicians had long ago capitulated to, and in some cases, defended.

Ron Paul, a Republican, no less, offered hope to millions of Americans fed up with meaningless wars, big government disconnect, and shrinking personal wealth.  Beyond slogans of hope and change, the anti-neocon Ron Paul R3VOLution offered answers – restore the Constitution, require our leaders to obey it, prosperity and peace will follow.  Although the GOP establishment, with the help of corporate media, thwarted Dr. Paul’s campaign, the political landscape was changed forever.  A new political paradigm emerged in a big way.

Here in Boulder, Colorado, folks of many different stripes responded to that call.  Disgruntled Republicans found themselves shoulder to shoulder with antiwar and 911 Truth activists.  Enthusiastically, we formed a local group, leafleted at local events, and pounded the pavement in our own precincts to get Dr. Paul nominated.  Despite the victory of politics-as-usual, Republicrat, and banker yes man, Obama, we pressed on with Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty working to raise awareness for restoring our constitutional republic and building support for future freedom minded candidacies.

Yes, that’s right, here in Boulder.  Official sister city of Lhasa, Tibet, and plenty of Free Tibet bumper stickers on ski rack fitted Subarus to prove it, Boulder is a model community for U.N. Agenda 21 and sanctuary city par excellence.  In hyperdrive to eliminate individual and property rights using the sustainability scam and global warming hoax, Boulder is also a case study in how a select population can be convinced that it is hip, trendy, and progressive, to go along with forced incremental collectivization.  Helping in this dumbing down process are plenty of local reactionary individuals and organizations cloaked in banners of ‘peace and justice’.  Gatekeepers for Left/Right polarization, they are fond of demonizing Tea Partiers as “racists”, and groups, such as the Oath Keepers, as “right-wing terrorists”.

Curators of the archaic socialist mindset, they cite greedy, polluting, corporations as the cause of all war and suffering.  Willful stooges serving the power elite agenda they call for more laws and more government to rein in the capitalists conveniently forgetting that we are well past the era of robber baron capitalism.  In this stage of financial capitalism banker owned corporations are melding with banker owned governments ensuring a completion of the fascist model of totalitarianism.

Despite this antithetical sociopolitical setting, the Boulder Campaign for Liberty continues to grow along with other freedom groups throughout the country.  The message of classical liberalism (limited government, individual liberty) as opposed to the collectivist ideology of the modern liberalism of today is compelling and undeniable.  The phony Left is revealed to be as philosophically bankrupt as the phony Right.  While appearing as opposites, modern establishment Liberals are, in reality, the dialectical partners of Neoconservatives in their shared quest for 21st century fascism.

Starting a freedom group anywhere is easy.  The hard part lies ahead.

The Road Ahead

Regardless of the turmoil and confusion caused by attacks from the phony Left and Right, the essence of a legitimate patriot, people’s movement remains intact.  The inappropriate appellations of “tea baggers” targeting grassroots tax protesters are now seen as the predictably hollow and nervous squeals of the intellectually frustrated.  The prime time television theatrics of Glenn Beck, and other phony conservative disinfo agents, are now exposed as a not so subtle Neocon co-optation attempt.

"TRUST ME."

Going forward, the freedom-liberty movement faces still more challenges.  The greatest challenge yet to come is that the movement still needs to clearly define itself and it’s goals independent from special interests.  Establishment GOP party hacks continue their attempt to co-opt the freedom awakening with a new version of Neocon Lite.  Riding the Ron Paul wave and exploiting anti-IRS, anti – Big Govt sentiment, they vilify Obama’s ‘socialism’.  At the same time, they extol the virtues of the fascist phony War on Terror along with its destruction of the Bill of Rights.  Let’s all work to restore the Republican Party to its original platform of limited government, they say, and, while we’re at it, bomb the hell outta Iran.  After only a year of Bush’s absence, the Neocons truly expect sane and sober folks to fall for this nonsense.

Wall Street parasites pose as born again libertarians and join with other useless talking heads on TV financial news shows.  Preaching the wonders of unfettered capitalism they promote a return to the good old days of limited government.  Noticeably, however, limited government and deregulation for you and me is often missing from the sermon.  Their mantra of; capitalism, capitalism, capitalism, by the way, better captures the linguistic flavor for justifying insider trading and monopoly practices.  It is so much more politically correct than the phrase,  free enterprise – a concept inferred from our Constitution, that speaks to the middle class, and reflects our culture of self-determination.

It is said, nature abhors a vacuum.  Nature is not picky and anything will do to immediately fill the void.  The same is true for politics.  Running as ‘Independents’ opportunists are scurrying to pander to an electorate fed up with both Democrats and Republicans.  Hitting all the right notes playing to the populist mood of the day, their charisma is sometimes stunning.  When asked the hard questions about 911 Truth, however, they suddenly go gaga-eyed and do a flip-flop routine rivaling that of contestants on So You Think You Can Dance.  Their obsession with winning, sacrificing true personal patriotism, is revealed.

Learning From Our Adversaries

Lenin leads the Bolsheviks out of the R.S.D.L.Party

In Marxist lore it is Lenin credited with the understanding that the most intense ideological struggle happens within the revolutionary party, itself.  It is not with the opposing political parties.  He was keenly aware that the Bolsheviks would not be successful unless there was a common consistent ideology enabling the party to act as a unified disciplined machine.  Amid the chaos of a collapsed Russian government, his insight proved to be valid.  Among the many parties vying for control, it was the Bolsheviks who were the best organized and seized state power because of it.  There were no compromises with other socialist factions.  In the years preceding the 1917 Revolution many Communist politicians lost their lives because they did not recant their beliefs.  The Bolsheviks maintained credibility, respect, and allegiance during crisis.  There were no flip-flops.  Say what you will.

Government provocateurs and bona fide fringe kooks aside, the genuine freedom movement does not include anyone proposing revolutionary violence.  The infowar and ideological struggle, though, is shaping up to be just as intense.  In order to have credibility and to speak with authority, the Freedom movement must stick with Constitutional values without compromise.  It must not play favorites with the Left or Right.  Sarah Palin and Al Gore should be seen for what they are – two careerist politicians serving the same paymaster.  9/11 and all false flag terror must be acknowledged.  All elements of racism and religious bigotry must be expunged.  Wars of aggression can no longer be acceptable under any circumstance.  A consistent anti-New World Order ideology is sorely needed.

In our high-tech age of instant gratification telling the truth without compromise and risking electoral defeat is a novel idea.  It will, however, prove to be the standard by which true patriots are separated from phony politicians.  A peaceful Second American Revolution will not happen overnight.  It will demand longterm credibility from ideological consistency.  It will demand speaking the truth.  No compromises.  No flip-flops.

“Everyone has credentials here!”

November 20, 2009 Leave a comment

One of my favorite films is Reds, starring Warren Beatty, Diane Keaton, and a host of other big name stars.  Since my awakening to the phony Left/Right paradigm, I no longer subscribe to its political message, but I still find it to be good story and ‘instructional’, as well.

In this clip from the 1981 film, John Reed (portrayed by Warren Beatty), is an American journalist and communist that finds himself swept up in the October 1917 Revolution.  When urged by a comrade to speak at a worker’s rally, he balks.  Feeling somewhat as an outsider, he replies, “But I have no credentials to speak here.”  His Russian friend disagrees…

Warning: Adult scenes

An important lesson is given here.  Your authority to act is not dependent upon credentials.  No diplomas or certificates are required.  Your authority to act is not contingent upon approval from others, or their permission.  You make your own ‘credentials’ when you decide to translate your desire into action.  John Reed’s credentials were earned, as the old saying goes, when he suited up and showed up.

Brick by brick, the foundation for the New World Order has been laid for the past several hundred years.  The international financial elite will soon attempt to place the capstone of open “global governance” atop their pyramidical control grid.  Our work to destroy the New World Order must go further than to temporarily thwart their planners and architects.  We must smash the foundation as well as the superstructure.

The foundation that supports the New World Order is composed of the masses – you and me.  Like it, or not, we are the supporting foundation, not only in the economic terms of financial feudalism, but in psycho-spiritual terms as well.  We have allowed the elite to construct walls in our minds.  Walls that keep us in a psychic comfort zone of complacent acceptance of our own victimization.  Our complacency, fear, and ignorance, are the source of their power.  Tear down these walls.

We do not need permission.  We owe no explanation.

Rights are not given.  They are taken.” Ayn Rand

John Reed, author of Ten Days that Shook the World, a book that today remains the standard firsthand account of the Russian Revolution, is buried in Moscow.  If you’re interested in early 20th century political history, the film is well worth the time.  And it’s entertaining too.
